Tale of the Witch, 2024
Assistant Camera, Editor. Directed by Catriona Burnett.
Two siblings set off to find a lost mobile phone and end up in a comic, magical quest, competing to prove which of them is the better witch. Along the way the film plays with classic witch tropes, such as turning people or things into a crow or a rat.
It was filmed in the North East of England. It was not a Newcastle Film Club production, but several club members worked on it. I joined as assistant camera and went on to edit the film, in live editing sessions with the director, working iteratively in Premiere Pro.

The Holiday When Julia Was Without a Phone, 2020
Director, Videographer and Editor.
A mockumentary about finding new ways to interact with the world beyond screens.
We filmed it over a weekend. I was taking my new camera on a weekend trip, and at the bus station my sister realised she had forgotten her phone, so I decided to document what happened next. The footage sat untouched until one of my students, Bianca Noceti, wanted to give it a go. She edited the first version, and I finished it.
